There`s a fascinating phenomenon I`ve observed whilst playing and interacting with the gongs and the energy fields in the space created by the people receiving the sounds. It`s noticeable right at the end I call it `turning gravity back on`!
We practise a period of silence when the sound finishes, an emptiness or Shunyata, when everything has a chance to fall back into place and reform out of the chaos. At the end of that period of about a minute, the dancing spirits fall back to the bodies below, the `real world` intrudes back into the space and everything feels as though it takes on a reality again. It`s only in hindsight, each time, that I realise this is in contrast to the feeling of weightlessness and flying that has gradually overtaken us during the preceding period of sound.
Each time, I`m aware of the whole building coming in to land again at it`s appointed place in the town. I`m aware of objects in the room taking on a physical form and mass again. I`m aware of my body weight again which seemed to have gradually reduced during the session. It`s not unusual for clients to report a feeling of flying or levitation during a session and I can understand that.
It really feels that after a Gong Bath gravity is turned back on again.
