Breaking down the walls of our imagination
This post could be sub-titled `don`t forget the Universe can be too literal`. Yesterday I manifested the biggest hammer I`ve ever seen (or tried to lift).
When we are working with sound and asking people to bring their intentions into our space, these intentions usually involve change of some sort. Whether it is finding a little peace in a world of anxiety or seeking healing in their hearts. Sometimes, change can be rapid, sometimes slow. Sometimes, change is very physical.
I can`t claim to be the world`s best at manifesting change, or I`d be living on a tropical island in the lap of luxury. On the other hand, our lives (June and myself) have been developing over the last few years and have changed out of all recognition – in a really good way. However, don`t forget to ask for change `with ease and grace`.
Somehow, I seem to be pretty good at conjuring up tools. A few years ago, I was walking down an isolated country lane in Wales and filling my head with random thoughts. One of which was contemplating my meagre tool kit I carry in the car, and realising I had not yet added a large adjustable spanner. I consoled myself with the thought that the right tool will eventually find me at the right time, and let the thought go. Thirty seconds later my eye caught a rusty piece of metal in the verge and yes, it was an adjustable spanner of good size. Cleaned up, it does the job well and you can see it below.
Jump forward to yesterday, early hours of the morning and driving back from the Chiron with lots of questions swirling round in my head. One thing which has been bothering me is wondering whether to develop, or even continue, my gong-making craft. So I asked the Universe to send me a sign, and let the request go, drifting into the ether. Immediately the thought was out of my head I had to swerve to avoid something big and metal lying in the road. It was the biggest hammer I`ve ever seen. A hammer that would be really useful if I was working metal in huge dimensions. Bigger, even, than I can fit in my workshop! So watch this space for big gongs.
There is another way of looking at this object. I`ve also been given the tool to break down the walls of my imagination.
